In the lead up to and throughout construction, we will make sure you are kept informed of plans and dates so you can plan ahead.
As well as working with you and local business organisations throughout construction to make sure your customers can continue to visit your business, we will support the area with an open for business campaign.
A campaign will be developed along with George Street partners, including Essential Edinburgh and the George Street Association. This will focus on keeping people informed about construction arrangements and encourage them to keep visiting. A campaign could include
- social media and online advertising
- signs on key approaches
- banners on work site barriers
- advertising and editorial in community magazines and newspapers
- promotional videos
- help to promote business events such as shopping days/evenings
- help to promote area-wide events and initiatives.
