Advice on other matters relating to trees
Tree management is the responsibility of the tree owner. This is important to remember if you own existing trees or are considering planting new ones.
The Council cannot
- provide advice to tree owners
- undertake inspections
- require neighbours to carry out tree work in connection with a nuisance.
If the trees are not protected, then we have no locus in the matter and you should seek a private contractor for further advice.
