Bookbug at Dr. Bell’s

Book gifting in the community by Craigmillar books for babies

Craigmillar Books for Babies gift books at their events, at the local baby clinic, on home visits and as part of their literacy programmes. They also provide other resources including nursery rhyme booklets and cards, puppets and craft activities. For more information contact

These sessions are for families with a child 10 months plus and offer a chance to meet other parents and carers in a safe place, a chance to get support and advice and take part in a range of different activities. Nature play is for children aged six years and under and their supporting adults/carers. The group has fully child-led active play with nature-based activities such as scavenger hunts, nature trails, mud kitchens, and more.
